National Internship Phase II Will Be Opened, Ministry Of Manpower Expands To Ministries And Institutions

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Manpower announced that the 2025 National Internship Program will continue until phase II for 80,000 participants. For phase II, the Ministry of Manpower will expand internship opportunities in ministries and institutions.

"One of our efforts is to expand opportunities, both in internships, not only in companies but also in ministries, institutions, and various. That is one strategy," Yassierli said at a press conference at the Ministry of Manpower Building, Monday, October 13.

He added that the second period will start on November 17, 2025, with a total target of 100,000 new graduates or fresh graduates.

On the other hand, Yassierli has also issued a Ministerial Circular (SE) submitted through regional heads so that more companies participate in the National Internship Program.

"We are targeting 100,000 internship vacancies to be available by the end of 2025. Therefore, we invite the entire business world to participate in opening internship opportunities for the younger generation of Indonesia," he said.

Yassierli said that his party is committed to continuing this program in 2026.

Just so you know, in the implementation of the first batch of the National Internship Program, the government has set a quota for 20,000 interns.

Based on data from the Ministry of Manpower, as of 10:00 WIB, October 13, 2025, 1,147 companies have opened internship vacancies through the Manganghub Application. Meanwhile, the number of registrants has reached 104,711 participants.
