Minister Of Law And Human Rights Supratman: BP BUMN Is Not Equivalent To Danantara

JAKARTA - Minister of Law (Menkum) Supratman Andi Agtas explained that the State-Owned Enterprises Regulation Agency (BP BUMN) is not equivalent to the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara).

Supratman said that in the revision of the Law on the fourth amendment to Law Number 19 of 2003 concerning state-owned enterprises (BUMN) the difference between BP BUMN and Danantara Indonesia was made very clear.

"It's different, it's different. If this (BP BUMN) is the function of the regulator, Danantara is the executor for the implementation of the operator. To carry out its business function is at BP Danantara," he said at the DPR Building, Jakarta, Friday, September 26.

Then, continued Supratman, BP BUMN and Danantara are both state-owned company shareholders.

However, BP BUMN is the shareholder of series A dwiwarna 1 percent, while Danantara is the holder of series Bham which is 99 percent.

"The task and function (BP BUMN) is more or less the same as the previous BUMN ministry. There he is the holder of the 1 percent Dwi Warna series Aham, but that will determine regarding the implementation of the GMS and so on," he explained.

Terkait dengan pengelolaan dividen, sambung Supratman, nantinya akan diatur secara lebih rinci Peraturan Presiden (Perpres).

“Nanti dalam Perpres yang akan datang ya,” katanya.

Supratman juga bilang siapa nantinya yang akan menempati posisi Kepala BP BUMN akan diputuskan Presiden Prabowo Subianto.

“itu sepenuhnya tergantung sama Bapak Presiden siapa orang yang akan ditunjuk,” ucapnya.

Regarding the management of dividends, continued Supratman, later it will be regulated in more detail the Presidential Regulation (Perpres).

Supratman also said who would later occupy the position of Head of BP BUMN will be decided by President Prabowo Subianto.
