JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia emphasized that PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) is still focused on finding five workers who were trapped by landslides in the Grasberg Block Cave (GBC) underground mine. According to Bahlil, with the ongoing search, PTFI has suspended the operational process and tin mining activities in its mine in Mimika, Central Papua since three weeks ago.
"Until today, we have not produced, we are still focused on looking for our brothers and sisters, Freeport workers who have not been found," said Bahlil when met at the Office of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Jakarta, Friday, September 26.

On the same occasion, Bahlil also expressed his condolences to the two workers who had been found dead. He also expressed his concern about the five other workers who have not been found until now.
