Holding LB GMS, Vale Lifts Slamet Sugiharto As Director And Chief Strategy And Technical Officer

JAKARTA - PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) officially appointed Slamet Sugiharto as Director and Chief Strategy and Technical Officer replacing Luke Mahony who resigned.

Luke's resignation approval and appointment of Slamet were carried out through the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS).

This meeting was held in accordance with the Financial Services Authority Regulation (OJK) Number 15/POJK.04/2020 concerning Plans and Implementation of the General Meeting of Open Company Shareholders (POJK 15) and OJK Regulation No. 14 of 2025 concerning the Implementation of General Meetings of Shareholders, General Meetings of Bondholders, and General Meetings of Sukuk Holders.

President Director and Chief Executive Officer of PT Vale Bernardus Irmanto said that the Board of Commissioners and Directors expressed their highest appreciation and gratitude to Luke Mahony for his contribution and dedication during his tenure as a member of the Board of Directors, especially in strengthening the strategic and technical aspects of the Company's operations.

Anto, Berbandus' nickname, also said that Slamet Sugiharto's entry would strengthen the company's technical strategy.

"We welcome Slamet Sugiharto as Director and Chief Strategy and Technical Officer. With his experience and expertise, he is expected to strengthen the company's technical strategy and capabilities," he said, Tuesday, September 23.

He ensured that PT Vale would continue to ensure solid leadership continuity, with a commitment to carry out the best mining practices, encourage responsible downstreaming, and create long-term value for the country, society, and all stakeholders.

With this decision, the composition of the Board of Directors of PT Vale becomes:

-President Director & CEO: Bernardus Irmanto

-Vice President Director & Chief Operation and Infrastructure Officer: Abu Ashar

-Director & Chief Human Capital Officer: Heriyanto Agung Putra

-Director & Chief Sustainability and Corporate Affairs Officer: Budiawansyah

-Director & Chief Financial Officer: Rizky Andhika Putra

-Director & Chief Project Officer: Muhammad Asril

-Director & Chief Strategy and Technical Officer: Slamet Sugiharto

PT Vale emphasized that this change in management still prioritizes compliance with regulations, the principles of transparency, and good governance.

The decision of the EGMS, said management, is proof of the company's commitment to maintaining operational stability while strengthening its contribution to sustainable development in Indonesia.
