Keep Solidarity, PGN Distributes Basic Food Packages For The Bajaj Gas Driver Community

JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program or the company's social responsibility is to distribute 600 packages of gractistic food to gas bajaj drivers (Kobagas) in Jakarta. Food packages containing rice, sugar, cooking oil, canned milk, tea, instant noodles, and coffee.

"In the current challenging situation and conditions, the provision of basic food assistance is a form of PGN's support and empathy for Kobagas, which has been a loyal user of BBG. PGN also thanks Kobagas, because their existence plays an important role for PGN in mobilizing the use of BBG in iconic transportation which is in great demand by the people of the capital city," said PGN Commercial Director Aldiansyah Idham, during the delivery of basic necessities to Kobagas at the Central PGN SPBG, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 2.

So far, PGN continues to foster a sense of togetherness and solidarity with Kobagas. PGN hopes that this basic food assistance can help meet the needs of the Kobagas family every day.

"The assistance provided may not be able to meet all needs, but we hope that this assistance can ease the burden on the Kobagas family," said Aldi.

In the current situation, Aldi also appealed to Kobagas to always pay attention to security aspects in driving and maintain calm while working. This is needed so that people's activities are more conducive and feel safer traveling using general transformation, one of which is bajaj.

On the same occasion, PGN's Director of Strategy and Business Development, Mirza Mahendara advised that Kobagas stay away from the way of conveying aspirations that are not in accordance with democratic principles. The community's contribution to maintaining conduciveness has a huge impact on the running of the national economy.

Mirza hopes that Kobagas can become a positive partner for the community and the state in maintaining peace.

PGN has routinely violated social programs through other CSRs with Kobagas including religious activities during Ramadan and the distribution of sacrificial meat during Eid al-Adha. Not only in social activities, PGN and Kobagas will collaborate on various PGN activities. Several PGN activities with Kobagas that have been carried out are Bajaj Kemerdaaan during the commemoration of the 78th Indonesian Independence Day in 2023, CNG Market Day in Bandung and Jargas Park in Bintaro X Change in the context of the 60th PGN Anniversary Celebration.
