Garuda Indonesia Welcomes Aviation Rate Discount Policy During Middle School Holidays This Year

JAKARTA - Garuda Indonesia's national airline welcomes and is ready to collaborate in implementing the flight rate discount program, which is planned to be implemented during the school holiday period in the middle of this year.

Garuda Indonesia views this policy as a positive step in expanding public access to affordable and quality transportation services.

President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Military Commander Tsani, said that Garuda Indonesia, as the flag carrier of the nation, is consistently committed to being part of collaborative efforts in supporting the government's strategic policies. This includes encouraging people's mobility through more affordable flights.

"We welcome this initiative as a form of cooperation for all stakeholders to ensure that connectivity between regions is maintained, especially at the moment of increasing community travel needs. Garuda Indonesia is ready to support the implementation of this program, both in terms of operational readiness and adjustments to tariff schemes in accordance with the policies that will be set later," said the Deputy Minister. , Monday, June 9th.

Currently, Garuda Indonesia continues to coordinate intensively with relevant stakeholders, in order to ensure that the tariff discount program formulation can be compiled comprehensively and in line with our steps in strengthening business expansion and accelerating business performance in the future.

The plan to apply the flight rate discount refers to PMK letter No. 36/2025 concerning VAT for Economic Class Air Transportation During the School Holiday Period.
