Jabodebek LRT Targets To Transport 1.1 Million Passengers In The 2025 Eid Transport Period

JAKARTA - The Jabodebek LRT targets to serve 1.1 million users during the Eid 2025 transportation period. The target is up 29.22 percent compared to the same period the previous year.

Jabodebek LRT Executive Vice President Mochamad Purnomosidi said the Jabodebek LRT is ready to support the smooth mobility of the community during the Lebaran 2025 holiday by providing fast, safe, and comfortable transportation services.

"Our target for our passengers in 2025 is 1.1 million passengers during the Eid 2025 transportation period. With 2024, our passengers are around 898,592 passengers. So our target is to increase by approximately 29.22 percent," he said in a joint media discussion, at the Jabodebek Cawang LRT Station, Thursday, March 20.

Purnomosidi said the Jabodebek LRT set the Eid 2025 transportation period for 22 days starting from March 21 to April 11, 2025. In this period, the Jabodebek LRT will operate 6,804 trips.

"By maintaining optimal travel frequency and affordable rates, we hope that the Jabodebek LRT can be a safe, efficient, and comfortable transportation option for users, both homecoming in the Jabodetabek area and those who are active in Jakarta during the Eid holiday," said Purnomosidi.

Furthermore, Purnomosidi said the Jabodebek LRT also strengthened facilities and security during Lebaran transportation by placing 242 frontliners at all stations to provide information and services, as well as 460 security officers at stations, trains, and strategic areas to ensure user comfort.

In addition, the Jabodebek LRT will coordinate and cooperate with the TNI and Polri to maintain operational security and smoothness, ensure that all facilities and travel run safely and in an orderly manner during this Eid transportation period.

During this Eid transportation period, we will continue to ensure that the Jabodebek LRT operates smoothly. We would like to urge all users to always respect fellow users, maintain cleanliness, and comply with the rules at stations and trains, for the sake of mutual comfort," he said.
