JAKARTA - The Association of Indonesian Crypto Asset Traders and the Blockchain Association (Aspakrindo-ABI) continues to encourage efforts to increase education and literacy about crypto assets in Indonesia. Through its annual agenda every February, Aspakrindo-ABI has completed organizing the 2025 Crypto Literacy Month (BLK) which carries the theme Invest Invest: Build a Future Early'. As a member, PT Pintu Kemata Saja (DOOR) the first all-in-one crypto application in Indonesia contributed to the 2025 BLK.

General Counsel PINTU as well as Secretary General of Aspakrindo-ABI Malikulkusno Utomo (Dimas) revealed that this Crypto Literacy Month activity is an important annual event for all members of the Association.

"The contribution of crypto traders to this activity shows its commitment to continue to expand education and literacy about crypto assets and blockchain technology. At BLK 2025, PINTU will hold several offline educational activities with the community," he said, in a written statement, Thursday, March 6.

PINTU activities in BLK 2025 include holding a Stand Up competition with the Stand Up Indo Bali community, then Pintu Talks Goes to Campus in collaboration with the ICP Hub Indonesia, which specifically educates about crypto, blockchain, smart-contract, and Web3 at the Jakarta State Polytechnic, to holding BUIDLRS Lounge by PINTU to hold joint discussions with blockchain developers.

The three BLK 2025 activities were positively welcomed by the participants with a total of more than 300 participants present. This indicates that investment interest in crypto assets is getting higher and the public is also increasingly understanding the importance of educational and literacy activities to strengthen understanding of the crypto asset ecosystem in the midst of an increasing trend in the number of domestic crypto investors," said Dimas.

In the Chainalysis The 2024 Global Adoption Index report which measures 151 countries' ranking on crypto asset adoption, it shows that Indonesia is in third place behind Nigeria and India which is perched in second and first positions. Chainalysis data is also in line with data on the growth of crypto investors in Indonesia, which according to the Financial Services Authority as of the end of 2024 reached more than 22 million investors.

"In addition to encouraging increased education and literacy, we also continue to innovate in various products and features to provide easy and safe crypto investment facilities for novice investors to pro traders. In addition, we also remind you of the importance of using a crypto investment platform that has been officially registered and supervised in Indonesia," concluded Dimas.
