For the innovations made, KAI Logistics won an award at the Indonesia Digital Sustainability Awards 2025 with the theme Creating Digital EcOSystem Through Sustainable and Inclusive Business in the category Indonesia Best Digital Awards 2025 in Logistics and Courier Services for Integrated Business Operations and Supply Chain and Sustainability Reporting Transparency. This award was received directly by KAI Logistics VP of Corporate Secretary, Dwi Wulandari, at JW Marriott Hotel, Jakarta, on Tuesday, February 18.

The award organized by JAKTV and Plus Idea Komunika conducted an assessment based on three main aspects, namely Digital Efficiency, Digital Transparency, and Digital Sustainability. The assessment includes not only the optimization of technology for customer operations and services, but also the role of companies in utilizing digital transformation to increase transparency in supporting corporate governance and running a CSR program that is in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
On this occasion, keynote speaker Fifi Aleyda Yahya, as Director General of Public Communication and Media of the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, revealed that the Indonesian economy in 2024 grew by 5.03 percent, in line with the growth of the previous year. He emphasized that digital technology has become the main pillar in national economic development. Indonesia Digital Sustainability Awards 2025 is expected to be part of the global movement in strengthening the role of technology to create a better and more sustainable world.
"Let's make digital transformation the main driver of inclusive and sustainable economic development," he said.
In 2024, KAI Logistics has implemented digitalization actions in all aspects of the company, both internally and externally. One of the concrete steps is the management of internal documents digitally through an integrated document system, the Rail Document System (RDS), which significantly reduces the use of paper and supports more environmentally friendly business processes.
In addition, KAI Logistics further strengthens its digital capabilities by presenting the KAI Logistics TRAX application, which makes it easier for customers to access digital freight delivery services, ranging from location checks, tariffs, pick-up requests, tracking, to digital payments.
Not only that, the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is also implemented to optimize container train services, strengthen KAI Logistics' commitment to providing efficient and sustainable logistics solutions.
