Efficiency, Budget Of The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources 2025 Cut 42 Percent To IDR 2.25 Trillion

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Yuliot Tanjung said that based on a letter from the Minister of Finance, the budget efficiency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources from IDR 3.91 trillion was cut by IDR 1.66 trillion to IDR 2.25 trillion.

"The amount of efficiency in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is IDR 1.66 trillion or 42 percent of the budget ceiling for the 2025 Fiscal Year of IDR 3.91 trillion," said Yuliot as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 12.

Yuliot explained that the efficiency of Rp1.66 trillion consisted of the efficiency of spending on pure rupiah (RM) sources of Rp1.3 trillion; expenditure for non-tax state revenue sources (PNBP) of Rp139.37 billion; and efficiency of spending on public services or BLU amounting to Rp216.89 billion.

"Some of the activities that will continue to be carried out in the 2025 Fiscal Year are related to electrification for people in the 3T area (lagging behind, leading and outermost)," said Yuliot.

This activity includes the construction of a Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) with a Multi-year Contract scheme of 4 units with a budget value of IDR 25.2 billion.

In addition, there is also the construction of PLTS with a Multi-year Contract scheme of 9 units with a value of IDR 2.0 billion.

"Monev (monev monitoring and evaluation) activities of PLTMH as many as 4 activities with a value of Rp. 2.08 billion," he said.

In addition, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is also still undergoing the process of submitting a budget revisj top-up from sources of mineral and coal PNBP (Minerba) funds worth IDR 4.24 trillion.

"Untuk pembangunan pipa gas bumi Cisem tahap II sebesar Rp1,79 triliun dan Dusem sebesar Rp2,43 miliar," kata Yuliot.

He made this statement regarding the Ministry of Finance which issued a letter numbered S-37/MK.02/2025.

Through this letter, the Ministry of Finance ordered ministries and institutions (K/L) to carry out budget efficiency for 16 shopping posts as a follow-up to the Presidential Instruction of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2025.
