JAKARTA - The Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop UKM) will facilitate MSMEs in the JaKreatiousest (JKF) event held at Taman Anggrek Mall, West Jakarta, on 16-18 June 2023.
JaKreatifest 2023 is a collaboration event of Bank Indonesia (BI) through the DKI Jakarta BI Representative Office (KPw), together with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov), KemenKopUKM, the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag), and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf).

Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs (MenKopUKM) Teten Masduki appreciated the holding of JaKreatiFest 2023 with the aim that MSMEs in the country be able to move the economy and advance to a global scale. The JKF 2023 Opening Ceremony activity was also attended by Member of Commission XI DPR-RI Kamrussamad, Deputy Governor of BI Filianingsih Hendarta, Head of PPKUKM DKI Jakarta Province Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo representing Acting Governor of DKI Heru Budi Hartono, and Menparekraf Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno via video connection.
Regarding the development of MSME potential in the global market, Minister Teten said that his party had facilitated various programs, especially MSMEs in the export sector, namely export certification of MSME products such as Organic, HACCP, BRC, and ISO, bringing together aggregators and export MSME actors supported by export financing institutions such as the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI) and BNI Xpora.
"We also facilitate buyer mapping and market intelligence for natural products to the European market," he said.
Then, collaborate on market expansion with the Indonesian Diaspora which is the aggregator, including the Norwegian market. Then, cooperation with Kadin in the form of an Indonesia Trading House in Switzerland, to collaboration between the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Ministry of Religion, the Ministry of Trade, and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce, to fulfill the needs of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
Market expansion is also carried out and driven through digital transformation by involving Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, and a catalog of digital promotions for export potential SMEs through the website smesta.kemenkopukm.go.id.

The JKF 2023 activity also synergizes with various strategic programs that are being carried out in Indonesia, ranging from collaboration with the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement (Gernas BBI)/GBWI Proud Movement in Indonesia (GBWI), Creative Karya Indonesia (KKI), Indonesia Sharia Economic, National Movement for Food Inflation Control (GNPIP), Cinta Proud to Understand (CBP) Rupiah, Consumer Protection (PeKA), to the Indonesian Digital Financial Economy Festival (FEKDI) which is expected to have a positive impact on economic development and innovation in Indonesia.
