Pertamina Raises Non-Subsidized Fuel Prices From IDR 1,000 To IDR 2,500 Per Liter, Following Are The Latest Price Details

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) raised the price of non-subsidized fuel as of Saturday, February 12, 2022. The increase in Pertamina's fuel price applies to the Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex types.

The increase in fuel prices is by the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020. The increase in Pertamina's fuel prices varies in each region of Indonesia, ranging from IDR 1,500 to IDR 2,650 per liter.

For example, in the DKI Jakarta area, the price of Pertamina's Pertamax Turbo fuel (RON 98) rose from IDR 12,000 per liter to IDR 13,500 per liter.

Then, the price of Pertamina Dex (CN 53) fuel rose from IDR 11,150 per liter to IDR 13,200 per liter, and the Dexlite type with Cetane Number (CN) 51 increased from IDR 9,500 per liter to IDR 12,150 per liter.

Meanwhile, for Pertamax prices, Pertamina has not made any price adjustments. This RON 92 gasoline product is still sold for IDR 9,000 per liter, the price that applies at gas stations in the Java region.

Acting Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Sub Holding Commercial & Trading Pertamina, Irto Ginting, explained that the company made price adjustments for three non-subsidized fuel products.

"The new prices for these three products, Pertamax turbo, Pertamina dex, and Dexlite, are effective from Saturday, February 12, for the DKI Jakarta area or areas with a fuel tax (PBBKB) of 5 percent", said Irto Ginting in an official statement, Sunday, February 13th.

Irto explained that price adjustments were made following the latest developments in the oil and gas industry.

"The ICP oil price per January 2022 was recorded at US$85 per barrel, an increase of about 17 percent from the ICP per December 2021", he explained.

Even though there are adjustments, said Irto, Pertamina's Pertamax Turbo, and Dex Series prices are still the most competitive compared to equivalent quality products. This price adjustment is also by the regulation of Ministerial Decree 62/K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the price formulation of general fuel types.

"For other non-subsidized fuels, namely Pertamax and Pertalite, there is no price adjustment", he said. The following is a list of the latest Pertamina fuel prices in various regions:

Province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam: The price of Pertamax Turbo fuel is IDR 13,500, Dexlite is IDR 12,150, and Pertamina DEX is IDR 13,200.

DKI Jakarta Province: The price of Pertamax Turbo fuel is IDR 13,500, Dexlite is IDR 12,150, and Pertamina DEX is IDR 13,200.

Riau Province: The price of Pertamax Turbo fuel is IDR 14,000, Dexlite is IDR 12,650, and Pertamina DEX is IDR 13,700.

Riau Islands Province: The price of Pertamax Turbo fuel is IDR 14,000, Dexlite is IDR 12,650, and Pertamina DEX is IDR 13,700.

Batam Municipality Province: The price of Pertamax Turbo fuel is IDR 14,000, Dexlite is IDR 12,650, and Pertamina DEX is IDR 13,700.

Bengkulu Province: The price of Pertamax Turbo fuel is IDR 14,000, Dexlite is IDR 12,650, and Pertamina DEX is IDR 13,700.

North Sumatra Province: The price of Pertamax Turbo fuel is IDR 13,750, Dexlite is IDR 12,400, and Pertamina DEX is IDR 13,450.

West Sumatra Province: The price of Pertamax Turbo fuel is IDR 13,750, Dexlite is IDR 12,400, and Pertamina DEX is IDR 13,450.

Jambi Province: The price of Pertamax Turbo fuel is IDR 13,750, Dexlite is IDR 12,400, and Pertamina DEX is IDR 13,450.
