This Bank Owned By Conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo Collaborates With Indodana To Expand Financial Access To The Public

JAKARTA - PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP), a subsidiary of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) which is under the auspices of the MNC Group owned by conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo, collaborated with PT Artha Dana Teknologi (Indodana) to expand financial access to the public.

This was marked by the signing of the Channeling Cooperation between PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk and PT Artha Dana Teknologi (Indodana). BABP was represented by Iwan Hari Artanto as Multifinance & BPR Group Head, Mr. Denny Hanubrata as Director of Business, and Indodana represented by Mr. Ronny Wijaya as President Director, and Jerry Anson as Director.

Indodana is a leading paylater platform in Indonesia that has been registered and has a business license from the Financial Services Authority as a Fintech Lending Provider since May 19, 2020. Through the Indodana application, users can get a Paylater limit of up to Rp25 million which can be used for online and offline shopping. Indodana develops the Paylater business by cooperating with leading e-commerce and Payment Gateways such as Tokopedia, Blibli, Tiket.com, Mitra Bukalapak, Elevenia, iStyle, and Linkaja.

Apart from e-commerce, Indodana has also collaborated with more than 1,000 merchants and other offline outlets such as Hush Puppies, Puma, Polytron, Kalbe, Atria, and Hartono Elektronik. In 2021 Indodana has also increased its service coverage to hundreds of offline outlets in Indonesia.

Using a paylater offline is very easy and similar to using a paylater at an online merchant. Users can come to Indodana partner outlets, select the desired item and installment tenor through the Indodana application, then verify the purchase.

Until 2021, Indodana has processed transactions of more than Rp2 trillion. Where, the Indodana application has been downloaded more than 5 million times and serves the public in more than 35 cities in Indonesia.

Denny Hanubrata as Business Director of MNC Bank stated that the collaboration between PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk and Indodana is in line with one of the bank's business focuses, encouraging financial inclusion to all levels of society.

"Many ways have been taken by MNC Bank to make this happen, ranging from launching MotionBanking with its onboarding biometrics, so that people who do not have access to a bank can directly open an account using only their ID card via cellphone, to various collaborations with fintech/P2P lending companies, including Indodana," said Denny, in a written statement, quoted on Saturday, October 15.

Ronny Wijaya as the President Director of Indodana stated that the collaboration between PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk and Indodana is proof of real cooperation between the Bank and Fintech in an effort to accelerate financial inclusion and expand access to digital-based financing to the Indonesian people.
