Bank Jago Owned By Conglomerate Patrick Walujo And Jerry Ng Want To Divulge Their Business Plan With Gojek

JAKARTA - PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) is planning to take part in the Virtual Public Expose (Pubex) Live 2021 held by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on September 8, 2021, starting at 14.00 western Indonesia time.

For the record, Public Expose is an activity of a public company that aims to explain the performance to the public along with other information. The goal is that the information is spread evenly to the public which is part of the duties of a company whose shares are listed on the IDX.

Bank Jago's participation aims to fulfill a letter from the Indonesia Stock Exchange on 12 August 2021 regarding an invitation to participate in Pubex Live 2021.

"Furthermore, we will carry out the implementation stages in accordance with what has been determined by the Indonesia Stock Exchange. We also convey that the Public Expose will be attended by the company's directors and Corporate Secretary," wrote the management of Bank Jago's board of directors, quoted on Monday 6 September

In the event, Bank Jago will present the profile and structure of shareholders. The company, which has been a public bank since 2016, was acquired by PT Metamorfosisi Ekosistem Indonesia (MEI) and Wealth Tranck Technology Limited (WTT) owned by conglomerates Patrick Walujo and Jerry Ng in December 2019, while Gojek has been a strategic investor since December 2020.

Bank Jago management will also explain corporate actions, which aim to increase the integration of payments and financial management of Bank Jago with Gojek and Gopay.

Previously, Jago and Gojek carried out the initial stages of payment integration in July 2021. Among them, connecting Kantong Jago with Gojek, paying for Gojek through Kantong Jago, and free charging and withdrawing funds on Gopay through Bank Jago.

In the future, the company will increase the integration of payments and financial management of the two. Among other things, registering Gopay and Jago customer profiles in one convenient channel, then paying from Kantong Jago at all merchants through GoPay.

The integration also allows access to other Jago features, such as savings or connected cards. In addition, it is possible to manage digital funds or money on Gopay through the Jago application.
