JAKARTA - The MNC Lido City Tourism Special Economic Zone, which is owned by PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG) through its subsidiary PT MNC Land Lido, has officially received the status of a Tourism Special Economic Zone (KEK) through Government Regulation (PP) No. 69 of 2021 dated June 16, signed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

MNC Lido City SEZ is located in Bogor Regency with an area of 1,040 hectares. This area will later become one of the largest centers of artistic activity in Indonesia.

"With the issuance of this PP on the Lido Tourism SEZ, practically all investors and business actors in the MNC Lido City SEZ can already enjoy the incentives attached to the special economic zone," said Executive Chairman of MNC Group Hary Tanoesoedibjo through his Instagram account, Thursday, June 17.

The incentives consist of tax incentives in the form of exemption from Value Added Tax (PPN), Luxury Goods Sales Tax (PPnBM), Corporate Income Tax, Excise, and Import Duties, as well as various benefits for investors related to goods traffic, employment, immigration, land, and governance space, business permits, and/or other facilities and conveniences.

SEZ of MNC Lido City, which is wholly owned by KPIG, is a world-class entertainment hospitality. SEZ of MNC Lido City is surrounded by a population of more than 70 million people and direct access to toll roads from Jakarta.

Located between 2 mountains, SEZ of MNC Lido City has comfortable temperatures between 22-25 degrees Celsius throughout the year because it is located at an altitude of about 600 meters above sea level.

Currently, ongoing developments in the SEZ of MNC Lido City are the 18-hole PGA standard Golf and Country Club, Lido Lake Hotel Extension, Movieland for integrated film production, and high-quality live-action/drama, and the Lido Music & Arts Center as a festival venue. Indonesia's largest outdoor music and art scene.
