JAKARTA - Mia le Roux's decision, Miss South Africa 2024 to withdraw from the Miss Universe 2024 event shocked the world of international beauty. Mia, known as the first deaf finalist in Miss Universe's history, firmly decided to withdraw.

The Miss South African organization praised Mia's toughness while in quarantine. In addition, the Miss South African organization is more concerned with Mia's health than the Miss Universe 2024 event.
