Pertamina Receives Compensation Payments From The Government With New Scheme

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) revealed that it has begun to accept compensation payments for the Pertalite Special Fuel Type (JBKP). The scheme used in this compensation payment is a new scheme that has been agreed upon by the Ministry of Finance.

Pertamina's Finance Director Emma Srimengatakan, seluruh kompensasi tahun 2024 telah dibayar hingga Juni 2025, sementara pembayaran kompensasi tahun 2025 mulai direalisasikan.

"In October 2025, Pertamina has received compensation payments for the first quarter of 2025. We appreciate the support from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of SOEs, and Danantara," said Emma in a statement to the media, Wednesday, November 26.

Emma explained that the rules for this new scheme have been regulated by PMK No. 73 of 2025 concerning Procedures for Provision, Disbursement, and Accountability of Compensation Funds for the Lack of Business Entity Revenue Due to the Policy for Determining Retail Selling Prices for BBM and Electricity Tariffs, which allows compensation payments to be made every month and provides payment flexibility in foreign currencies.

"This policy will strengthen our liquidity going forward, while still considering the availability of state fiscals," he added.

Previously, the Minister of Finance, Purbaya Yudhi Sadivewa, said that the purpose of this change in rules was to maintain cash flow or cash flow for energy companies that were assigned by the government.

"Indeed, to repair cash flow and also so that I am not accused of not paying debts," said Purbaya when met in Jakarta, Thursday, November 20.

Through this regulation, he believes that PLN and Pertamina's cash flow will be better than before.
