Pertamina's Pertamax Green 95 Distribution Has Reached 170 Gas Stations

JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga reported, until this week the sales of Pertamax Green 95 continued to grow and reached 170 gas stations on the island of Java.

Pj. Pertamina Patra Niaga's Corporate Secretary, Roberth MV Dumatubun, explained that Pertamax Green 95 with a content of 5 percent Bioethenol (E5) has been marketed by Pertamina Patra Niaga for 2 years and uses local raw materials as a top priority by utilizing sugarcane drops (molase) which are used as bioethenol fuel grade from local suppliers or suppliers in Mojokerto-East Java.

"This product is processed by adding ethanol plant so that it reduces dependence on fossil fuels and makes it more environmentally friendly," said Roberth, quoted on Saturday, November 8.

Roberth emphasized that Pertamax Green 95 is a mixture of fossil fuels (Gasoline) with plant-based fuel (Etanol) derived from sugarcane plants by prioritizing local raw materials, to strengthen added value for the agro-industry sector and Indonesian sugarcane farmers.

He also ensured that this fuel presented a balance between vehicle performance and concern for the environment.

"A step that if taken together and able to bring Indonesia towards a greener future," said Roberth.
