Food Agrinas Is Involved In Preparing Land For The Red And White Kopdes

The Ministry of Cooperatives (Kemenkop) is collaborating with PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara to prepare the land for the Red and White Village Cooperative (Kopdes).

The company can also involve other contractors to the Indonesian National Army (TNI).

Minister of Cooperatives (Menkop) Ferry Juliantono said that his party had made a contract with PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara.

Furthermore, in the construction process, Agrinas can also cooperate with local contractors to make them faster and more efficient.

"We have made a contract with PT Agrinas, later whether Agrinas is with a local contractor, but also PT Agrinas has an MoU with the TNI whose involvement is faster, more efficient," he said at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Food, Jakarta, Monday, October 27.

Ferry said, currently the plan for the construction of the Red and White Kopdes is 2,400 units. Meanwhile, the currently available land reaches 5,000.

"Sekarang sedang dibangun sudah terkonfirmasi 2.400-an, dari data tanah yang sudah ada 5.000. Tapi kan kita harus verifikasi factal, lokasi harus memenuhi syarat, dia harus ada minimum kepuasan tanahnya, terus kemudian strategis, dan sebagainya," ucapnya.

Ferry said the land was not given free of charge, but the Red and White Kopdes still had to pay it through a loan scheme to the State Bank Association (Himbara) with a ceiling of IDR 3 billion.

"The ceiling is Rp. 3 billion, some of which will be used for physical (development), investment, and the rest working capital," he said.

Selain lahan yang disiapkan oleh PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, Ferry bilang, pemerintah juga membuka kemungkinan Kopdes Merah Putih dibangun dari lahan milik pemerintah daerah.

“Kita terus menginventarisir tanah, dan kemudian melakukan verifikasi terhadap lokasi titik-titik tanahnya. Tetapi kita juga tetap membuka kemungkinan misalkan ada aset provinsi, kabupaten, kota yang ada sisa lahan tanah kosongnya pun juga bisa dibangun,” ucapnya.

In addition to the land prepared by PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, Ferry said, the government also opened up the possibility that the Red and White Kopdes would be built from land owned by the local government.

"We continue to inventory the land, and then verify the location of the ground points. But we also continue to open up the possibility, for example, there are provincial, district, and city assets where the remaining vacant land can also be built," he said.
