Bulog Signs 2025 SPHP Rice Procurement Contract

JAKARTA - Perum Bulog signed a contract for the provision of rice with provider partners to hold rice packages for the Stabilization of Supply and Food Prices (SPHP) measuring 5 kilograms Phase II in 2025.

Director of Procurement of Perum Bulog Prihasto Setyanto emphasized that the packaging procurement process was carried out completely in an open, professional manner, and in accordance with government regulations.

"I make sure that this procurement process is carried out with the principles of transparency, fairness, and open to the public so that the hope is that the procurement of this package can produce the best packaging, both in terms of quality, quantity, and timeliness of production and packaging delivery," he said, Thursday, September 25.

According to him, the process of procuring Phase II SPHP packaging is carried out through an open tender starting from August 25 to September 17, 2025.

The official cooperation agreement contract was signed on September 18, 2025, and since that date the provider has started producing to meet the needs of SPHP rice packaging throughout the Regional Office and Bulog District Office.

The plan to send packages to the kanwil warehouses throughout Indonesia is scheduled to start in the fourth week of September 2025.

"With this step, Bulog ensures that the availability of packaging can support the smooth distribution of SPHP rice to the community, while at the same time supporting the stabilization of supply and price of rice in the market," explained Prihasto.

Furthermore, Bulog emphasized that the procurement of packaging is not only meeting technical needs, but also part of efforts to strengthen public trust.

Dengan desain kemasan yang seragam, distribusi beras SPHP diharapkan lebih mudah dikenali masyarakat, sekaligus menjaga kualitas produk hingga sampai di tangan konsumen.

“Kami percaya bahwa keberhasilan menjaga pangan bukan hanya ditentukan oleh stok beras semata, tetapi juga oleh manajemen distribusi dan dukungan sistem logistik yang andal. Pengadaan kemasan SPHP Tahap II ini adalah bagian penting dari ekosistem tersebut,” tutup Prihasto.

With a uniform packaging design, the distribution of SPHP rice is expected to be easier for the public to recognize, as well as maintain product quality until it reaches the hands of consumers.

"We believe that the success of maintaining food is not only determined by rice stocks, but also by reliable distribution management and logistical system support. The procurement of Phase II SPHP packaging is an important part of the ecosystem," concluded Prihasto.
