Digital Transformation Via Smart City Concept Is The Key To Accelerating Public Services In Pangkalpinang

JAKARTA - Pangkalpinang Deputy Mayor Dessy Ayutrisna wants to implement digitalization of government administrative services with the concept of Pangkalpinang Smart City.

Administrative services such as making ID cards to services for the elderly, must be fast with a one-door system.

Pangkalpinang must become a modern city, a cultural city, as well as an investment-friendly city. So we must strengthen infrastructure that can support this concept. Now some bureaucratic services in Pangkalpinang are also digital, later we will strengthen it again," he said.

In addition to the concept of Pangkalpinang Smart City, Dessy also has a vision to build tourism in Pangkalpinang City.

The culture of local wisdom is a power of identity that has great potential to support regional culture, especially in Bangka Belitung.

"Well, like Pangkalpinang City, it has the potential for melayu and Chinese cultural tourism which is still very thick. The people's lives show harmony between the two other cultures and tribes that are here. So that's what must be explored further," said Dessy.

Tradisi seperti Ceng Beng dan Nganggung juga dipastikan harus terus dijaga.

”Jadi kita Bersama-sama masyarakat Pangkalpinang melakukan modernisasi tanpa kehilangan identitas budaya kita. Malah harus dilestarikan dan menjadi daya tarik pariwisata, asal dikemas dengan serius dan lebih terkoordinir,” paparnya lagi.

It is also ensured that traditions such as Ceng Beng and Nggung must be maintained.

"So together we Pangkalpinang people modernize without losing our cultural identity. In fact, it must be preserved and become an attraction for tourism, as long as it is packaged seriously and more coordinated," he explained.
