Head of the Capital Archipelago Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono revealed that there is a wave of investment worth IDR 132 trillion that will enter the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago, East Kalimantan.
Basuki explained that the jumbo investment flow would be realized using the Government and Business Entity Cooperation (KPBU) scheme or Public Private Partnership (PPP).
"There are jobs that are collaborated with business entities. So, with a public private partnership working with the government and business entities. Basuki said that later the investment would not only come from domestic companies but also involved international business entities.
A number of international business entities will be involved, namely IJM Corporation Berhad from Malaysia and China Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd (CHEC) which is a business entity from China.
"(The implementation) is in his own hands, some form a consortium. So, all the total is IDR 132 trillion," said Basuki.
The plan, said Basuki, is that the jumbo investment wave will be used to realize construction activities in the form of roads, Multi Utility Tunnel (MUT) to residential areas, both apartments and landed houses.
Previously, Deputy for Funding and Investment at OIKN Agung Wicaksono said, the amount of direct investment from the private sector in IKN had reached Rp58 trillion.
