Homecoming Fun With SOEs 2025, Pupuk Kaltim Facilitates 366 Homecomers From Bontang And Samarinda

"This program is also an effort to reduce the number of accidents and congestion on the highway during the Eid al-Fitr 2025 homecoming period, while ensuring that SOEs are present for community services on religious holidays," said Ngateno.

Ngateno explained, this year Pupuk Kaltim provides four free homecoming routes by land. Namely Bontang Samarinda, Bontang Balikpapan, Bontang Banjarmasin, and Samarinda Banjarmasin, with a total of 366 travelers. Total Pupuk Kaltim deployed nine bus fleets, to facilitate the community from Bontang and Samarinda, so that they could go home with their families to their hometowns.

In addition to the free fleet, Pupuk Kaltim also provides travelers with various equipment such as t-shirts, hats to food and drinks, so that travelers get comfort during the trip.

In addition, Pupuk Kaltim is also collaborating with the Bontang National Narcotics Agency (BNNK), to ensure that all bus drivers are free of drugs, so that the safety and safety of travelers are guaranteed. Plus free health checks for all travelers ahead of departure, through the service post prepared by the company team.

This free homecoming service is considered effective in unraveling the potential for congestion and risk of road travel for travelers, including reducing carbon emissions and environmental impacts from excessive transportation activities.

One of the participants of the Suriani homecoming (72), said that the Pupuk Kaltim program really helped him to stay in touch in his hometown during the Eid al-Fitr momentum. The man who works as an MSME actor admitted that he was very grateful to be one of the participants, especially with the fairly easy registration process and very good facilities for trips to his hometown.
