Jasa Marga Prepares 127 SPKLUs In Rest Areas For The Smooth Flow Of Lebaran Homecoming

BEKASI - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) has increased the number of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) in the Jasa Marga toll road rest area to support the smooth flow of the 2025 Eid homecoming.

Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana said, at least 127 SPKLUs had been prepared at that momentum.

"In Lebaran this year, 13 more units were added, to a total of 127 units spread across Jasa Marga Group's rest area," said Lisye at a Jasa Marga Alert press conference: Idulfitri 1446 Hijri Operations Readiness at Jasa Marga Tollroad Command Center, Jatiasih, Bekasi, West Java, Wednesday, March 19.

It is known, the number of SPKLUs at rest areas under Jasa Marga's previous management was 114 units. Lisye said, later people who go home can check the availability of SPKLU in the rest area through the Travoy application.

"There are several points that we have optimized to be able to fast charging (use) to overcome the existence of several thousand electric vehicles that will travel," he said.

The increase in the number of SPKLUs is carried out to anticipate the increase in electric vehicles that cross the toll road during the 2025 Eid homecoming and reverse flow. Jasa Marga estimates that at the moment of the homecoming flow and this time there are 75,000 electric vehicles passing.

Previously, Jasa Marga projected that as many as 2.18 million vehicles would carry out homecoming during the Lebaran 2025 holiday.

Lisye said, this figure increased by 1.1 percent when compared to the flow of homecoming during the Lebaran holiday last year.

"Proyeksi lalu lintas keluar Jakarta melalui Gerbang Tol (GT) Cikampek, GT Kalihurip Utama, GT Ciawi dan GT Cikupa sebanyak 2,18 juta kendaraan, naik 1,1 persen dibanding period 2024," tuturnya.
