JAKARTA - The Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming / Investment Coordinating Agency (BKPM) continues to promote investment in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), so that development in the area continues.
Deputy for Investment Climate Development of the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM Riyatno said that in carrying out the promotion, his party was assisted by the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN).

He said that his party continues to promote investment in IKN in various sectors, such as those that have entered, namely the hotel sector, as well as investment plans in the education sector.
According to him, the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani has been looking for potential investors from Singapore.
"The Minister has also met with the Head of OIKN, Pak Basuki, and the Minister has also been looking for investors from Singapore actually," he also said.
The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) has denied any news that the construction of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) has stopped and workers will be repatriated to their respective areas of origin due to budget efficiency.
OIKN Spokesperson and Special Staff to the Head of OIKN for Public Communication, Troy Pantouw, emphasized that the IKN development program was still running according to the plan that had been set.
"The second phase of the IKN development program (in 2025-2029) is intended to prepare facilities and infrastructure with the target of making Nusantara the Political Capital of the Republic of Indonesia in 2028," said Troy when contacted by Antara, in Jakarta, Friday, February 7.
