100 Days As Minister Prabowo, Dody Hanggodo Admits He Doesn't Have Achievements

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo openly conveyed his performance for three months as an assistant to President Prabowo Subianto.

Dody said the performance achievements of the Ministry of Public Works during the first 100 days of the Prabowo Government were the legacy of performance for the 2019-2024 period or in the era of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) leadership.

"Pak Prabowo, kan, selalu mengatakan saya ini beruntung yang mengerjakan siapa, yang menyatasikan siapa," ujar Dody saat ditemui di kantor Kementerian PU, Jakarta, Rabu, 22 Januari.

"So if you say I have achieved what I didn't have. Wong, my job is just a walk," he continued.

Dody said, this is a form of continuous government. Even during the streets or working visits to the regions, Dody claims to always check and ensure that the infrastructure that has been built so far or from 2019 to 2024 is truly in accordance with the President's direction.

Prabowo instructed the focus in infrastructure development is related to connectivity.

"I found, for example, the Pidekso Dam (Central Java) has not connected to irrigation. I ordered it to be connected immediately," he said.

As for the achievements in early 2025, the Ministry of Public Works will inaugurate six dams spread across a number of parts of Indonesia. The six dams are the Rukoh Dam (Aceh), the Keureuto Dam (Aceh), the Jlantah Dam (Central Java), Sidan Dam (Bali), the Marangkayu Dam (East Kalimantan) and the Meninting Dam (West Nusa Tenggara).

Meanwhile, for this year's work plan, the Ministry of Public Works will work on a number of projects, such as the construction of 16 dam units, 10 thousand hectares of irrigation networks and the rehabilitation of 45,000 irrigation networks.

Then, build 139 kilometers of roads; 5,510 meters of bridge; 336 meters of flyover; 20.52 kilometers of expressways aka toll roads; as well as the preservation of 1,545 kilometers of roads and 122,568 meters of bridges. In addition, there are still a number of projects in the manufacturing and strategic infrastructure sector.
