Achieves Positive Performance, Land Bank Agency Records Soil Acquisition Soars Of 194 Percent In 2024

BANDUNG - The Land Bank Agency has successfully closed 2024 with a positive performance in land acquisition. During that period, the Land Bank Agency recorded land acquisition of 14,637.2 hectares (Ha), an increase of 194 percent (yoy). Thus, the total land inventory assets of the Land Bank Agency are 33,115.6 Ha located in 45 regencies/cities throughout Indonesia.

Head of the Land Bank Agency, Parman Natamatmadja, said he appreciated this positive performance. He explained that this achievement could not be separated from the support of all stakeholders, especially the Ministry of ATR/BPN, local governments and also the community.

"Alhamdulillah, this year we managed to record the largest acquisition since the first time the Land Bank Agency was established. We are committed to the lands we have obtained, we will manage it as well as possible in order to realize a just economy in Indonesia," said Parman in Media Gathering 2024 and Outlook 2025 in Bandung, Friday 17 January.

Parman also said that the Land Bank Agency also supports President Prabowo's Asta Cita program and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming in terms of providing and controlling land which will have a direct impact on economic growth, including in the context of economic equity through the agrarian reform program on the HPL of the Land Bank Agency.

Deputy for Land Utilization and Business Cooperation, Hakiki Sudrajat added, of the total land inventory assets owned by the Land Bank Agency in 45 regencies/cities, 13 regencies/cities have been utilized.

"That this ratio has reached 28.89 percent. The use of this land includes for the public interest, plantations, fisheries, agriculture, MSMEs, MBR housing, tourism, ports to logistics centers," he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy for Strategic Planning and Land Procurement, Perdananto Aribowo said, for 2025, the Land Bank Agency plans a land acquisition target of 140,000 Ha.

The lands will later come from the determination of the government which includes land used for rights, areas and abandoned land, land for the release of forest areas, land to arise, land from reclamation, land from former mines, and others as stated in PP 64 of 2021.

In addition, it also comes from other parties whose determinations come from the Central Government, Regional Governments, BUMN, BUMD and others.

"We are optimistic that this year we can get land exceeding the target we have obtained in 2024," Ari concluded.
