JAKARTA - Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KP) Sakti Wahyu Trenggono visited a candidate for the revitalization of the Pantura pond in Karawang Regency, West Java, Thursday, January 9.

In detail, there are 2,480 hectares of land in Banten Province, 33,740 hectares in West Java, and 14,490 hectares in Central Java and East Java reaching 27,840 hectares.
"In Pantura, there are 78,000 hectares of ex-fish ponds that have not functioned properly for more than 30 years. Some areas have even become industrial areas, but there are still 78,000 (hectares) who are unemployed.
