Get A Budget Of IDR 110.95 Trillion Next Year, The Ministry Of Public Works Will Build Dams To Market Renovations

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) budget for 2025 is set at IDR 110.95 trillion.

PU Minister Dody Hanggodo explained that the budget will be allocated for priority programs in the fields of Water Resources, Highways, Cipta Karya, Strategic Infrastructure and management support.

"Starting from the construction of dams, construction and rehabilitation of irrigation networks, construction of roads and bridges, construction of expressways, construction of SPAM and SPAL, structuring tourism areas," said Dody, quoted from his official statement, Thursday, December 12.

"Then, the construction of schools and madrasas, rehabilitation and renovation of markets and sports infrastructure," he added.

Previously, in the era of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)'s administration, the budget of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) for next year was set at IDR 116.23 trillion.

However, the budget was divided because President Prabowo Subianto divided the Ministry of PUPR into two, namely the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP).

"Based on the Agreement on the Separation of the 2025 FA Budget Allocation Ceiling between the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of PKP, as well as taking into account the duties and functions of each k/l, we will distribute this amount to IDR 110.95 trillion for the Ministry of Public Works," he said.

It is known that President Prabowo Subianto has submitted a Budget Implementation List (DIPA) and the Regional Transfer Allocation Book (TKD) for Fiscal Year 2025, Tuesday, December 10.

Dalam agenda yang digelar di Istana Negara Jakarta itu, Prabowo juga meluncurkan Katalog Elektronik versi 6.0.

In his remarks, Prabowo said, the 2025 State Budget was designed to maintain stability, inclusiveness, sustainability, but with caution.

The head of state said the government had high aspirations but had to exercise economic control carefully. He also asked for the program to be well planned.

"We must do state spending by increasing efficiency, saving in all fields, reducing waste," he said.
