Ahead Of The Christmas And New Year Holidays, Jasa Raharja At The Driving Safety Level

Jasa Raharja is committed to supporting the momentum services for the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year (Nataru) holidays safely, comfortably and safely. So that accidents during this period are expected to decrease.

Jasa Raharja's President Director, Rivan A. Purwantono, said the move was also in line with the direction given by the Ministry of SOEs to ensure the best service during this period.

Rivan admitted that he had collaborated with the Korlantas Polri to prepare various strategic steps, including engineering traffic flow during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

"As directed by the Ministry of SOEs, we are ready to actively participate in efforts to anticipate safe, comfortable, and safe Nataru which in the end will have an impact on decreasing the number of accident victims," he said in an official statement, Thursday, December 12.

Rivan said that previously Jasa Raharja and Korlantas Polri had also conducted route surveys as well as checked security readiness to a number of areas on the island of Java, starting from the Merak Port route, West Java, Central Java, East Java, to Bali.

Through this activity, continued Rivan, Jasa Raharja actively participated in various programs. He also said that together with Korlantas Polri, he had determined four ways of acting which would guide officers in the field.

"First, carry out traffic engineering and coordinate with neighboring police to divert alternative flows, carry out gratuities, and make instructions for portable directions, so that people know alternative roads that will be crossed," he explained.

Then, he continued, the second was to coordinate with the Regional Government and the Public Works Agency (PU) for road repairs.

Third, he continued, informing the public through the media, so that the public can find out which sections can be crossed.

"Finally, coordinating with the Public Works Agency and Transportation Agency regarding the addition of facilities and infrastructure during floods," he said.

According to Rivan, synergy with various parties is the key in carrying out security during the Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025 periods, especially on strategic routes.

"We have coordinated with Korlantas Polri, local governments, the Public Works Service (PU), and the Transportation Service to try to anticipate traffic flow and public safety," he said.

In addition, Rivan continued, Jasa Raharja has also informed the public through various media related to roads that can be passed, especially in flood-affected areas.

"Obviously clear information is very important so that people can plan trips safely and efficiently," said Rivan.

Meanwhile, the Special Staff of the Minister of SOEs, Arya Sinulingga, expressed his appreciation for Jasa Raharja's speed and responsiveness in providing services to traffic accident victims.

Arya also appealed to people who will travel during the Christmas and New Year periods to remain vigilant and comply with traffic rules.

"People need to maintain the condition of their vehicles, obey traffic signs, and avoid too tiring trips," said Arya.
