JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) will allocate IDR 26 trillion in cash, an increase of 4.6 percent compared to the realization in the previous year to welcome transaction needs during the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holiday period.
Bank Mandiri's SEVP Corporate Relations Wisnu Trihanggodo conveyed that the provision of these funds was an anticipatory step by Bank Mandiri against the surge in public needs for cash transactions during the holiday period which lasted 33 days, from December 1, 2024 to January 2, 2025.
Wisnu added that the increase in allocation was carried out following the projected increase in public ATM/CRM transactions.
