The Wife Of The Free Verdict Judge Ronald Tannur Is Sad To See The ATM Balance Of IDR 0

The wife of the inactive judge of the Surabaya District Court, Erintuah Damanik, Rita Sicycleuk, admitted that she was sad when she saw the ATM balance showing zero rupiah (Rp 0) because all her money was confiscated in connection with the alleged bribery and gratification case for granting acquittal to the convict Ronald Tannur's murder in 2024.

Rita, saat menjadi saksi dalam persidangan perkara tersebut, mengaku sampai membandah sang suami karena telah terjerat dalam kasus itu sehingga menyebabkan seluruh uangnya disita.

"I came to the ATM twice, always writing your balance zero. In my small heart I asked, how come this, we experienced why God is like this," said Rita at the trial of witness examination at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor) as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, January 7.

She explained the condition that made her even sad when she saw the ATM balance because since December 2024 her husband has no longer received a monthly salary of Rp28 million.

In fact, he has three children who are currently in college, with one youngest child studying at a private university, which requires a greater cost.

Therefore, Rita is currently asking for help from her older brother and sister-in-law to support herself and her children every day.

"In addition, I also have a small mother with jewelry. I move it so that it can survive because now it is also to pay tuition fees for children, sir," he said.

Rita testified for three non-active judges at the Surabaya District Court who were charged with accepting bribes in the form of gifts or promises of Rp4.67 billion and gratuities in cases of alleged bribery and gratuities for granting acquittal to the convicted murder of Ronald Tannur in 2024.

The three defendants, namely Erintuah Damanik, Heru Hanindyo, and Mangapul.

In addition to bribes, the three are also suspected of receiving gratuities in the form of rupiah and various foreign currencies, namely Singapore dollars, Malaysian ringgit, Japanese yen, euro, and Saudi riyals.

In detail, the bribes allegedly received by the three judges included Rp1 billion and 308 thousand Singapore dollars or Rp3.67 billion (exchange rate of Rp11,900).
