Responding to the detection of six cases of COVID-19 in four districts in West Java, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi said West Java had been trained to deal with COVID-19.
"We have been trained to deal with heavy Covid first, we have been trained," said Dedi at the Pakuan Bandung building, Wednesday, June 4.
However, Dedi also admitted that all parties must start to be vigilant, but he asked not to panic too much.
"Yes, we have to start to be vigilant today, although don't panic too much," he said.
Regarding the possibility of restrictions on the movement of people, including the necessity to wear masks, Dedi admitted that he was still waiting for recommendations from the Ministry of Health.
"We'll see, we'll see, it's based on recommendations. What the Ministry of Health's recommendations will be," he said.
Meanwhile, the West Java Health Office (Dinkes) revealed that for the time being, as many as six cases of COVID-19 were detected in four districts, and have now been handled by hospitals for observation and further action.
Head of Disease Prevention and Control of the West Java Health Office, Rochady, said the six cases were reported to have occurred in Cianjur Regency, West Bandung Regency, Bogor Regency, and Indramayu Regency.
