Harita Nickel Earns IDR 4.83 Trillion Profit Per Quarter III-2024

JAKARTA - PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) or Harita Nickel posted a net profit of IDR 4.84 trillion or grew 8 percent compared to the previous year.

Based on financial reports until September 2024, the company's revenue was recorded at IDR 20.38 trillion. This revenue score increased 18 percent compared to the same period last year.

"This growth is supported by an increase in production volume in mining and processing operations," said Head of Investor Relations Harita Nickel, Lukito Gozali in a statement to the media, Friday, November 22.

In terms of operations, production volume also recorded an increase. nickel ore production reached more than 16.27 million wet metric tons (wmt), an increase of 12 percent compared to the same period in 2023.

FeNi's production from the RKEF smelter was recorded at 95,813 tons, an increase of 39 percent on an annual basis, while the HPAL facility generated 71,531 tons of MHP Ni, an increase of 47 percent on an annual basis.

The second HPAL facility, PT Obi Nickel Cobalt (ONC), started its first production line in April 2024 and all three production lines have managed to reach full capacity in August.

This success contributed quite significantly to the total production of HPAL facilities and the contribution to the increase in sales of nickel ore to the mining division.

In addition, the first HPAL facility began producing and exporting electrolytic cobalt in August, adding a variety of company products.
