Maruarar Sirait Calls The Budget Of The Ministry Of PKP Rp5.07 Trillion For 2025

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) led by Maruarar Sirait or Ara received a budget of IDR 5.07 trillion for 2025.

The budget will be focused on building three million houses, which is a program made by President Prabowo Subianto.

"Imagine this is our budget, Rp5 trillion (for) 2025. Asked to build how many million houses? Three million houses. What is the budget for 2024? Rp14.68 trillion," said Ara in an event entitled 'Discussion of the Three Million Houses Program' which was held at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Public Works, Jakarta, Monday, October 28.

Ara added that the total 2025 budget of IDR 5.07 trillion is already included in the allocation for the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) next year, which is around IDR 1.2 trillion.

Meanwhile, to assist himself in carrying out his mandate as PKP minister, he proposed four director generals (dirjen). First, the director-general who manages housing in rural areas. Then, the director-general of urban housing, the director-general regarding residential areas and other director-general.

"Earlier I revised it, there were four director generals who helped me. I don't want to be complicated, Mr. President Prabowo assigned me approximately millions of houses. So, later there will be the Director General of Village Management (housing), there will be the Director General of Managing (residential) the city. everything, the planning, what, everything is below. So he is one director general, the business is finished there," he explained.

He believes that the proposed Organizational and Work Procedure Structure (SOTK) of the Ministry of PKP is cleaner, simpler and accessible to the public.

"I will also make, propose, frankly, the SOTK has arrived at the palace. I have asked President Prabowo, to give me five days of opportunity, to propose a SOTK that we believe is cleaner, simpler and more accessible to the public," he said.
