The Capital Archipelago Authority (IKN) offers 101 investment plots to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and individual business entities.
This was conveyed by the Acting (Plt) Head of OIKN Basuki Hadimuljono after holding an agenda for Discussing Potential Lands in accordance with the Investment Interest of Prospective Pioneer Business Actors which was attended by 11 prospective pioneers at the Auditorium of the Ministry of PUPR, Jakarta, today.
Basuki said this was to follow up on President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) directives on Friday, September 13, 2023 at IKN.
"According to President Jokowi's direction, 101 of the 493 land parcels located at KIPP have been prioritized to offer. This potential land can be allocated to MSMEs and individual business entities," Basuki said as quoted from his written statement, Thursday, September 19.
Along with this, a clear mechanism or standard operating procedure (SOP) must be prepared.
"Of course, the mechanism is prepared referring to Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 75 of 2024 concerning the Acceleration of Development of the Capital City of the Archipelago, which is appropriate for pioneer investors with a little modification to support the activities of MSMEs in IKN," he said.
Basuki said, the ease of doing business and tax incentives in principle will comply with the applicable laws and regulations.
The IKN Authority fully supports MSMEs to continue to progress and develop. Thus, said Basuki, OIKN will serve all investor friends and simplify all processes.
"Because we are not selling land, we invite friends to invest in the archipelago," he said.
