Anindya Bakrie Claims To Be Elected As General Chair Encouraged By Regional Chamber Of Commerce And Industry Initiative And ALB

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) of the Extraordinary National Conference (Munaslub) Anindya Bakrie said that his election in the 2024 Kadin Munaslub was an initiative from the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Extraordinary Association (ALB).

"So first of all, this Munaslub is an initiative from the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as an association that can be called an extraordinary member," he said during a press conference at the Kadin Tower, Sunday, September 15.

Anindya explained that the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Associations were committees to regulate the proceedings and this was in accordance with the Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART).

"So they are the ones who created the committee to determine the quorum, the course of the trial, and the results. In accordance with the AD/ART," he said.

Anindya emphasized that the Munaslub had taken place and the election of the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry was carried out openly in accordance with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's AD/ART.

"And yesterday it was already running. There are even some live media that can be seen for themselves. Of course we convey that everything that is done is in accordance with AD/ART," he said.

However, Anindya emphasized that she received the mandate from the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Extraordinary Association (ALB) to become the General Chair of Kadin for the next period.

"Even so, we also understand. I have the mandate to become general chairman (Kadin) 2024-2029, but always open because I am the general chairman for those present at the Munaslub, both Kadinda and associations, as well as administrators, but also for others," he said.
