Prophet Muhammad's Maulid Holiday, A Total Of 122,083 Vehicles Leave Jakarta

BEKASI - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) predicts 122,083 vehicles will pass from Jakarta to the East via the Trans Java Toll Road during the Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW holiday period, September 13-16, 2024.

"The total volume of vehicles leaving the Jakarta area through the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate has increased by 7 percent compared to normal traffic of 114,095 vehicles," said Business Director of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll Road Pratomo Bimawan Putra, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, September 15.

His party also predicts that the volume of vehicles entering from the East Trans Java region will be recorded at 121,850 vehicles, an increase of 4.3 percent from normal traffic of 116,846 vehicles.

The increase in the volume of vehicles on the Trans Java Toll Road also affected traffic in Central Java and East Java, with details of 79,124 vehicles crossing the Kalikangkung Toll Gate to Semarang, up 29.7 percent against normal traffic of 61,020 vehicles.

"For vehicles heading to Jakarta via the Kalikangkung Toll Gate, there were 74,694 vehicles recorded, an increase of 30 percent from normal traffic of 57,458 vehicles," he said.

Then 107,223 vehicles were recorded heading to Solo via the Banyumanik Toll Gate, up 15.6 percent from normal traffic 92,783 vehicles while 84,657 vehicles headed to Jakarta or up 9.2 percent against normal traffic 77,530 vehicles.

In the East Java region, 80,788 vehicles heading to Surabaya via the Warugunung Toll Gate, an increase of 5.6 percent from normal traffic of 76,494 vehicles and 74,067 vehicles heading to Jakarta, an increase of 5.3 percent for normal traffic, namely 70,324 vehicles.

"We will continue to strive to provide optimal service during the long holiday period of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday," he said.

His party ensures that the substation operates 100 percent including the optimization of 'Obligque Approach Booth' and alerts 'Mobile Reader' to increase transaction capacity at the main toll gate.
