The Realization Of The EBT Bauran Of The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources Capai 13.93 Percent Throughout The First Semester Of 2024

JAKARTA - The Directorate General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) reported that until the first semester of 2024, the realization of the EBT mix had reached 13.93 percent.

In fact, in Government Regulation (PP) Number 79 of 2014 concerning National Energy Policy, the target for the EBT mix is set at the level of 23 percent by 2025.

"The achievement (eBT appeal) in 2024 is at 13.93 percent," said Director General of EBTKE, Eniya Listiani Dewi to the media at the Directorate General of EBTKE Building, Monday, September 9.

Eniya said that the slow growth in the energy mix was caused by three main factors, namely that there was an investment target that had not been achieved, the commitment to carry out investment had not been achieved and infrastructure development was still being carried out in the EBT sector.

He also explained that there must be an additional electricity from clean energy of 7.4 GigaWatt (Gw) so that the target for the mix can be achieved.

Meanwhile, there is still a difference or gap between the realization and the target of the PLN Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL) which can affect the achievement of the energy mix next year.

"The target for the energy mix is 23 percent until next year. But there is a gap in the achievement of the target and the realization is that there is a gap of 7.4 Giga Watt (GW) which has not been achieved at the RUPTL," he continued.

In addition to having to increase the mix of EBT, it turns out that his party still has to increase the portion of non-EBT energy mix.
