Deputy Speaker Of The House Of Representatives Approves The Proposal For Additional Budget Of The Ministry Of Cooperatives And SMEs Of IDR 665.02 Billion In 2025

Deputy Chairman of Commission VI DPR RI Mohamad Hekal approved the proposed additional budget for the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop UKM) for Fiscal Year (TA) 2025 amounting to Rp665.02 billion.

The funds will be used to meet the needs of priority and non-priority activities that have not been accommodated in the 2025 budget ceiling.

"Ini di Kementerian Koperasi tidak mengajukan tambahan, ya? Masih masih mau kami upaya tidak? Kalau begitu add satu poin lagi, yah?" kata Hekal dalam Rapat Kerja (Raker) dengan Komisi IV DPR RI bersama Menteri Perdagangan (Mendag) Zulkifli Hasan di Kompleks Parliament, Senayan, Jakarta, Rabu, 4 September.

"Commission VI of the DPR RI has approved the proposed additional budget for the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2025 Fiscal Year of IDR 665.02 billion," he said.

Previously, the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs (Menkop UKM) Teten Masduki proposed an additional budget for 2025 of Rp665.02 billion during a working meeting (Raker) with Commission VI of the DPR RI, on Monday, June 10, 2024.

The budget will be allocated as development and guidance to cooperatives, MSMEs and entrepreneurship amounting to Rp634.4 billion.

Then, the additional budget is also for projected salary allocation and employee allowances in 2025, of which a total of 1,103 employees of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs are.

A total of 1,103 people consisted of 833 existing employees and 270 proposed recruits for new employees, CPNS and PPPK.

"So there is an estimated budget shortage of Rp. 30.58 billion," said Teten.
