JAKARTA - President Director of PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) Tony Wenas revealed that the production of the single line copper smelter owned by PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) located in Gresik, East Java is planned to be inaugurated next week.

Tony said that the inauguration of this inaugural production will be carried out by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi)

"It's already operational ( Gresik smelter). It's ready for production and hopefully next week the President will inaugurate it," Tony said when met by the media at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Building, Thursday, August 22.
