Good News From Prospective New Capital Region, Cure Rate Of COVID-19 Patients In North Penajam Paser Rises To 91.44 Percent

JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Handling Task Force of North Penajam Paser (PPU) Regency, East Kalimantan, Thursday, March 25, noted that the cure rate for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients increased 0.27 percent to 91.44 percent.

"This 91.44 percent number was obtained from a total positive number of 1,017 people, while the number who recovered was 930," said the COVID-19 Handling Task Force of North Penajam Paser (PPU) spokesman, Dr. Grace Makisurat in Penajam, as quoted from Antara, Friday, March 26.

Today there are an additional 11 patients who have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of patients recovered to 930 people.

There were also an additional 9 patients who tested positive, bringing the total positive from March 22, 2020, to March 25, 2021, to 1,017 people.

Of the total positive of 1,017 people, the development is that there are 14 people still being treated, 30 people are doing independent isolation, 43 people died, and as many as 930 people were declared cured.

He continued, the positive distribution per district and the development of the 1,017 people is that in Penajam District there are still 20 positive people, 641 people recovered, and 26 people died.

"Next in Waru District there are still 5 positive people, 106 people are declared to have finished independent isolation because they have recovered, and there are 3 people who died," he said.

In Babulu District there are still 3 positive people, 73 people recovered, 6 people died. Then in Sepaku District there are still 16 positive people, 110 people recovered, and there are 8 people died.

He also said that today there was an additional 1 positive death, bringing the total to 43 deaths. Then there were 10 additional suspected cases, bringing the total to 2,513 suspected cases.

"Of the 2,513 suspects, the latest development is that there are no independent isolation suspects, 2 suspects are hospitalized, 16 suspects die with comorbidities, the rest are positive, recovered, or died after being positive for COVID-19," said Grace.
