Tears When Handing Over The Position Of Investment Minister To Rosan Roeslani, Bahlil: Welcome!

Rosan Roeslani officially became the Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) after handing over positions at the Ministry of Investment Office, Jakarta this afternoon.

That way, Rosan officially replaces Bahlil Lahadalia.

"Welcome to the new minister, Bang Rosan, the Ministry of Investment/Head of BKPM," said Bahlil at the Office of the Ministry of Investment, Jakarta, Monday, August 19.

In tears, Bahlil asked BKPM employees to help Rosan lead the Ministry of Investment.

Bahlil also believes that Rosan Roeslani will lead the Ministry of Investment much better than himself.

"Mr. Rosan, my teacher was from Papua. I have confidence he is better than me. To all my friends, I also apologize to all the employees as long as I interacted with you I apologize. But I did everything for the good of all of us," he said.

"Please I only leave one, help Bang Rosan. Don't have any additional movements, please look at Bang Rosan like me, and even more. Because he is my brother," he continued.

Previously, it was reported that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had just inaugurated Rosan Roeslani as Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) this morning at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday, August 19.

Rosan was appointed to replace Bahlil Lahadalia who was also officially appointed as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources this morning. Bahlil was appointed to replace Arifin Tasrif.

Rosan is not the first time he has entered the ranks of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, previously he has also served as Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) for the period July 2023 to October 2023.
