Pertamina Distribution Of Fuel To Labuan Bajo Using A RAE Scheme

JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga, Pertamina's Sub Holding Commercial & Trading distribution of fuel to Labuan Bajo applies a Regular, Alternative, and Emergency (RAE) distribution scheme.

This was done due to the condition of repairing the road to Labuan Bajo which resulted in hampered fuel shipments using tank cars.

"The distribution of fuel in Labuan Bajo is carried out specifically to ensure that the needs of the community are met. Pertamina always ensures that the fuel supply is sufficient," said Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Heppy Wulansari in a press statement, Friday, August 16.

He explained that RAE's distribution scheme to ensure that fuel needs in Labuan Bajo are met and can support tourism.

"We continue to coordinate with the local government so that the distribution of fuel is not hampered by current road conditions. Pertamina Patra Niaga continues to strive to meet the needs of Labuan Bajo fuel, including running alternative distribution patterns and additional tonnage ships," said Heppy.

Heppy said the stock of fuel in Labuan Bajo was quite safe with details of Pertalite and Solar stocks at a level of more than 12 days. Gas stations are also asked to arrange queues and prioritize charging fuel to vehicles.

"Pertamina coordinates with the Regional Government, West Manggarai Police & Manggarai and the national road task force for the priority of tank cars," said Heppy.
