Clean Water Has Started To Enter Percil At IKN, But...

PENAJAM PASER UTARA - Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) mengungkapkan, saat ini air bersih mulai masuk ke persil-persil di Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) di Kalimantan Timur. Seperti diketahui, Persil adalah sebagai tanah dengan batas-batas tertentu.

"Regarding clean water, clean water has now entered the parcels," said Head of the Task Force (Satgas) for Implementation of IKN Infrastructure Development at the Ministry of PUPR Danis H Sumadilaga to reporters at the Sepaku Semoi Dam, Friday, August 9.

Even though it has started to enter the parcels, Danis said that the quality assurance process is currently underway. This is to ensure that the water is suitable for drinking.

"We are in the framework of the quality assurance process. This is a series to ensure that getting to the tap is water that can be drunk," he said.

Danis said, to get water with the quality of being able to drink directly, you must also get certainty from third parties. In this case, PT Sucofindo.

"And this certainty will be obtained if we are certified by a third party, we are not the ones who say that," he said.

According to Danis, the process is currently ongoing and will be completed in the next few days. "This requires a process in the next few days and is currently underway," he added.

Previously, Spokesperson for the Ministry of PUPR Endra S Atmawidjaja said that clean water would begin to be distributed entirely in the buildings of the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) on August 17.

This was conveyed by Endra when met by reporters in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Wednesday, July 31.

"We are still trying to get all of them back on August 17 (August 2024)," he said.

Endra ensured that the clean water could be utilized on August 17.
