Anies Baswedan Disables The Head Of Jakarta Goods and Services Procurement Service Agency For Getting Involved In A Case

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has disabled the Head of the Jakarta Goods and Services Procurement Service Agency (BPPBJ), Blessmiyanda.

When he confirmed regarding this matter, Bless admitted that he was temporarily discharged because he gets involved in a case. However, Bless is reluctant to reveal what case he is currently facing.

"Yes, he will be temporarily discharged. As for the matter (case), I may not be able to convey it", said Bless via text message, Wednesday, March 24.

Bless has been disabled since Monday, March 22nd. Currently, Bless is undergoing an inspection at the Inspectorate of DKI Jakarta.

"In general, (the inspection) is related to performance", he said.

On a separate occasion, a member of Commission C Regional Representative Council (DPRD) DKI Jakarta from the NasDem Party faction, Ahmad Lukman Jupiter, admitted that he was aware of Bless' deactivation.

Jupiter said that the officials from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government who are being questioned at the Inspectorate should be removed. The goal is for the person concerned to focus on undergoing the examination.

"If he is not deactivated by this examination, the fear is that he will not focus on the work of the goods and services auction agency. So it will also interfere with this examination", said Jupiter.

To replace Bless's job for a while, Anies appointed DKI Jakarta Regional Secretariat Assistant Government, Sigit Wijatmoko to be the Head of BPPBJ DKI.
