Pertamina Raises Non-subsidized Fuel Prices, Except Pertamax

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga made price adjustments to Non-Subsidized Fuel consisting of Pertamax Turbo and Pertamax Green 95 gasoline, as well as gasoil products, namely Pertamina Dex and Dexlite.

Meanwhile, Pertamax fuel does not change prices.

Pertamina Patra Niaga's non-subsidized fuel price adjustment refers to the trend in the average price of world oil publications or ICP and the rupiah exchange rate against the American dollar (USD).

Pertamina Patra Niaga's Acting Corporate Secretary, Heppy Wulansari, explained that the price adjustment for Non-Subsidized Fuel has been made by all business entities in early August 2024.

Referring to the average world oil price, Pertamina Patra Niaga has re-evaluated and made price adjustments for Pertamax Green RON 95, Pertamax Turbo RON 98, and non-subsidized fuel for diesel vehicles, namely Dexlite and Pertamina Dex valid as of August 2, 2024. For Pertamax fixed prices, Heppy explained in his statement to the media, Tuesday, August 2.

Heppy continued, Pertamina's non-subsidized fuel price adjustment policy always takes into account the economic stability and purchasing power of the community, so that although the ICP trend has increased since the end of the first trimester, Pertamina Patra Niaga's non-subsidized fuel price has not changed since March 2024.

With adjustments in early August, for the DKI Jakarta area, Pertamax remains at Rp12,950 per liter, Pertamax Green is adjusted to Rp15,000 from the previous Rp13,900 per liter, Pertamax Turbo to Rp15,450 from the previous Rp14,400 per liter, Dexlite to Rp15,350 from the previous Rp14,550 per liter, and Pertamina Dex at a price of Rp15,650 from the previous Rp15,100 per liter.

This price applies to provinces with a motor vehicle fuel tax (PBBKB) of 5 percent, such as in the DKI Jakarta area.

The pricing is in accordance with the regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Decree No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022 as a change to Kepmen No. 62/K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the JBU price formulation or non-subsidized fuel of the ESDM Decree No. 62/K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the general fuel type price formulation (JBU). We ensure that this price remains competitive for products with equivalent quality," concluded Heppy.
