Sido Muncul Boss Irwan Hidayat Shares The Secrets Of Sustainable Business Success At Ma Chung University National Seminar

JAKARTA - Ma Chung University held the 2024 National Seminar in the context of 17th Dies Natalis with the theme 'Sustainability through Smart Green Technology'. The event was held on July 24, 2024 and collaborated with Ciputra University, Malang Islamic University, Surabaya State University, and Sanata Dharma University Jogjakarta as co-hosts. This seminar became a forum for meeting more than 250 papers with the participation of more than 500 participants, consisting of academics, practitioners, and students.

This national seminar was opened with a Plenary Session presenting two prominent speakers, namely Mr. Irwan Hidayat, Director of PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul, Tbk and Prof. Dr. med. Ito Puruhito, MD., FICS, FAMM, Professor of the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University as well as former Chancellor of Airlangga University for the 2001-2006 period. Both share insight and experience in developing sustainable green technology.

Irwan Hidayat is an important figure in the herbal and pharmaceutical industry in Indonesia. As Director of PT Industri Jamu and Pharmacy Sido Muncul, Tbk, he has succeeded in bringing the company to a more modern and environmentally friendly direction.

The second speaker, Prof. Dr. med. Ito Puruhito, MD., FICS, FAMM, is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga. He has extensive experience in medicine and has served as Chancellor of Universitas Airlangga in the period 2001-2006.

Prof. Ito is known for his dedication in the development of medical education and medical research in Indonesia. In this seminar, he will discuss how green technology can be applied in the field of medicine to improve the quality of life of the community.

In his presentation, Prof. Puruhito emphasized the importance of implementing green technology in health services to increase efficiency and reduce environmental impacts.
