Iran Monitors Carrier, Destroyer And US Frigate With Drones

JAKARTA - Iran's Navy Chief Admiral Shahram Irani said the Navy continues to monitor aircraft carriers, 16 US destroyers and frigates in the region using reconnaissance drones.

In a meeting on Monday, Young Admiral Irani highlighted National Day Against Global Economy, stating the aircraft carrier, along with 16 US destroyers and frigates stationed in the region, continues to be monitored by Iranian reconnaissance drones.

"Our drone surveillance can be seen with the naked eye, which serves as a clear message to America that there is no place for them in the region and that we are tracking all their movements," he said.

"It is imperative to understand that we have the ability to monitor the enemy even at sea, which has raised concerns among Americans," he continued.

In addition to ensuring the security of state shipments, he said the Iranian Navy had been able to escort ships from other countries at the request.

He stressed that the Iranian Navy was escorting oil and commercial shipments from Venezuela's coast to destinations in the US, Europe, and Africa.

"One of the latest actions we took was to take and confiscate the shipments of oil that had been confiscated by the US, along with the ship carrying it, even though the ship had been renamed by the US," he said.
