JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga introduces green fuel products with renewable energy such as Pertamax Green 95 and bioenergy to prepare a 'green' energy transition at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024 automotive exhibition.

"As national energy managers, we continue to be responsible for presenting fuel products with renewable energy such as Pertamax Green 95 and bioenergy to prepare a 'green' energy transition in Indonesia," said Pertamina Patra Niaga VP Marketing Strategy Indra Edi Santoso in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Thursday 18 July.

The presence of the two products is believed to be able to answer the provision of clean energy to remote parts of Indonesia.

Indra said that the acceleration of the use of green energy in Indonesia needs to be supported by the development of downstream infrastructure and the massive supply of clean fuel.

Furthermore, Indra explained that other downstream infrastructure that Pertamina Patra Niaga has presented is the Green Energy Station (GES), charging stations for electric cars, and battery swapping stations for electric motors.

"Pertamina's presence in GIIAS this time is to provide solutions for green energy needs that are in line with the automotive trend that requires minimal emission fuel standards, our products and services are appropriate and the quality is good for the needs of community vehicles," he said.

Acting Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga Heppy Wulansari said the GIIAS event was a place to open up opportunities for cooperation between Pertamina Patra Niaga and its affiliates with various strategic partners in developing the future products and services of the automotive industry.

Previously, Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) exhibition was proof of the commitment of the domestic automotive industry in encouraging innovation for the advancement of national industry.

Agus said Indonesia is a dynamic center for professionals and automotive enthusiasts, considering that it has great potential in developing this industry.
